When adding confirmed events to your Sonas portal (normally when you first set up Sonas and need to migrate existing event details over) you may not want to send out welcome emails until you have confirmed all of the correct event details in the system. This can instead be done at a later stage when the event is confirmed and at that point you can send out Sonas access to your customer.  In this menu you can also send a reset password link to your customers for their Sonas portal should this be required.

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Click on the People page in the sub-menu for the wedding.

  2. Select the person you wish to resend the email to by clicking on them.

  3. This will open up that customers details.

  4. Then in the Actions menu you will see Resend Emails, if the customer already access, or Give Access, if the customer does not have access to the event yet.

  5. Choose from the drop down menu which email you wish to send to your customers and click Resend or Give Access. The default options are:

    • Example of welcome email existing booking

    • Example of welcome email wedding

    • Reset password (only available if they already have access)


Note: The two welcome emails are pre-designed with a welcome message for your customers and a link to login to their portal.  We advise that you first revise your template setup for these and personalise the customer’s Sonas experience to your venue.
