The ceremony section (or ceremony details section in the customer’s Sonas portal) is the first section that is available to the venue at an early stage.  It contains the basic details of the wedding, including the couple’s personal information and is normally completed in full prior to the wedding status being fully confirmed. The customer really only needs to check the details - namely their personal details, spelling of their names etc, and lock the section when everything is confirmed as correct.  Note: When you add in the official start time in the Ceremony section of your wedding planning, this will create the ceremony time on your Timeline. required details for completion in the ceremony section are broken down into two sections - ceremony details and contact details for both partners:

1.  Ceremony details:
  • Celebrating Ceremony with us? (Y/N)

  • Time of Ceremony? (input ceremony time using 24h clock provided)

  • Ceremony Guests Approx (this isn't the final number, just an approximation)

  • Send Correspondence to (which half of the couple should receive correspondence)

  • Registrar Reference (where applicable for the ceremony)

  • Primary Area (i.e. which part of the venue will be used as the primary place for the wedding - likely for the ceremony)

  • Secondary Area (i.e. which is the secondary area to be used within the venue - likely for the reception/evening event)

  • Any notes about the ceremony? (Any extra notes for the venue/customer to be inputted)

 
2.  Contact Details for the couple (complete the details for both partners):
  • Role (Bride/Groom or variation thereof)  

  • Title, Name and Surname

  • Date of Birth and Nationality

  • Email, Mobile and landline contact numbers

  • Address 

Click save in the top right hand corner of the screen to save the changes for the section.  Using the Actions button, the customer can send this section for revision or the venue can lock it down as finalised.
